The Best French Bread Pizza Recipe

Classic French bread pizza upgraded with a heavy dose of garlicky butter, NULL cheeses, and recent herbs.
Note: Look for gentle Italian or French bread, no longer a hearty baguette.
Ingredients
3 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
4 cloves garlic, finely minced
pinch red pepper flakes
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/4 cup minced recent parsley or basil leaves, or a mix
Kosher salt
1 giant loaf French or Italian bread (see note), about 18 inches lengthy and four inches wide, cut up half lengthwise and crosswise
1 (14.5 ounce) can overwhelmed tomatoes
8 ounces freshly grated entire milk mozzarella cheese
2 ounces grated Parmigiano-reggiano
Directions
1. Adjust oven rack to higher role and preheat oven to 425°F. Heat butter and 3 tablespoons olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium-low warmth till butter is melted. Add garlic, pepper flakes, and oregano and cook, stirring occasionally, till garlic is softened but no longer browned, about 2 minutes. Stir in half of parsley/basil and a giant pinch of salt. Remove from heat.
2. Place bread cut-side-up on a blank work surface. Using a rimmed baking sheet, press down on bread calmly till compressed to about 2/3rds of its unique height. Place bread on best of rimmed baking sheet. Using a pastry brush, brush half of garlic/butter/oil combination calmly over cut surfaces of bread, making certain to get lots of bits of garlic and aromatics. Set aside.
3. Add tomatoes to ultimate garlic/butter/oil combination in pan, stir to combine, growth warmth to medium, convey to a simmer, then cut back warmth to hold a naked simmer. Cook, stirring occasionally, till prosperous and reduced, about 15 minutes. Season to style with salt.
4. While sauce cooks, unfold 1/4 of mozzarella calmly over floor of bread and move to oven. Cook till cheese is barely melted, about 8 minutes. Remove from oven and set apart till sauce is cooked.
5. Spread sauce calmly over bread, then unfold ultimate mozzarella on best of sauce. Transfer to oven and bake till cheese is melted and simply beginning to brown, about 10 minutes. Remove from oven and right now sprinkle with Parmigiano-reggiano, ultimate parsley/basil, and ultimate tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil. Allow to cool reasonably and serve.
