MOMMA’S SPANISH RICE
This Spanish Rice recipe is filled with cooked rice, tomato sauce, floor beef, peppers, onions and seasoning. Delicious remedy food! I certainly won’t name this actual Spanish Rice. This is simply the title it was given whilst my Mom was in Home Economics classs (where she discovered this recipe) within the 60’s. We recognize it's no longer authentic. So, please no hate mail at the name. I simply love the odor of this whilst it's cooking. There is simply anything in regards to the odor of inexperienced peppers, onion and floor pork cooking that all of a sudden takes me again to my Mom’s kitchen.

WHAT DO I SERVE WITH SPANISH RICE?
This dish is easy but a vast addition to mealtime and it's appropriate for leftovers the subsequent day. Also, it's totally delicious with my LAYERED TACO BAKE or MEXICAN LASAGNA. If you've got leftovers, attempt making a few STUFFED PEPPERS.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
lean floor beef
tomato sauce
prepared white rice
green pepper
onion
salt & pepper
shredded cheddar cheese
lean floor beef, tomato sauce, lengthy grain white rice, inexperienced pepper, onion, salt, pepper, shredded cheddar cheese
HOW TO MAKE MOMMA’S SPANISH RICE:

Cook’s Note:  If you're utilizing boil-in-the-bag rice, you may want 2 bags of rice for this recipe. 2 cups of dry rice will make four cups prepared. To reheat: positioned a cup or so of rice right into a microwaveable-safe bowl. Sprinkle with about a tbsp. of water or bird broth. Cover with paper towel and warmth for about 1 minute. Stir to make certain it's calmly warmed through. Microwave for extra 20-30 seconds if necessary.

Ingredients
1 pound lean floor beef
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 inexperienced pepper diced
1 medium yellow onion, diced
salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
4 cups white rice prepared

Instructions
In a big inventory pot, upload floor beef, inexperienced peppers and onion over medium excessive heat.

Cook till floor pork is brown and crumbled and veggies are tender.
Drain extra grease.
Put floor pork combination again into inventory pot.
