These marinated chickpeas are a bit bit spicy, a bit bit sweet, and absolutely irresistible. This recipe as huge on its own as a pale meal or appetizer, or served on salads or internal pitas. Recipe yields about 6 part servings.

INGREDIENTS
2 cans (15 ounces each) chickpeas, rinsed and drained, or 3 cups cooked chickpeas
⅔ cup chopped roasted red peppers (I used most of a 12-ounce jar)
⅔ cup crumbled feta cheese
½ cup chopped recent basil
⅓ cup olive oil
¼ cup red wine vinegar
1 tablespoon + 1 teaspoon honey
4 medium cloves garlic, pressed or minced
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon freshly flooring black pepper
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (scale again drastically if touchy to spice)

INSTRUCTIONS
In a medium serving bowl, combine the chickpeas, red peppers, feta and basil.
