You read much concerning the parents who stay there and it typically tells you much concerning the historical past of the state – simply with food! I currently went to Indiana to cling out with a few remarkable of us in agriculture and likewise loved the meals whereas I was there. My hubby is from Indiana so I knew all about having fun with a giant ole fried pork sandwich and a slice of sugar cream pie with a chilly glass of root beer. And as you transfer up north, the place much of Polish immigrants settled, you’ll see much of kielbasa and sauerkraut. But one merchandise I didn’t realize about was red meat and noodles. Now, unfortunately I didn’t get to consume any of it whereas visiting but I seen it on a menu at a diner we visited (where I had the pork sandwich – yum!) I also seen much of of us had seemingly ordered the meat and noodle dish as it got here out of the kitchen in a really heavy rotation.

But the bottom of all of the recipes had been similar: sluggish cooked red meat in a thick broth with egg noodles. I figured that I may work with that so I took my base for red meat stew and simply constructed on that. And I cooked all of it within the crock pot, simply due to the fact hey, all of us love crock pot recipes and I needed that sluggish cooked, smooth red meat flavor. It grew to become out really darn nice if I do say so myself!
