The cooks at Founder had been serving bak kut teh, a peppery pork-rib soup from Singapore it's typically eaten for breakfast, on the grounds that 1978. Needless to say, they are the professionals for this impossibly gentle stew, which, as an further bonus, comes collectively all in a single pot.

Bak Kut Teh (Pork-Rib Soup)
Recipe adapted from Founder Bak Kut Teh, Singapore
Yield: 2 to four servings
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour and 25 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour and 45 minutes

INGREDIENTS
8 cups water
2 tablespoons flooring white pepper
1 tablespoon flooring black pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 complete star anise
1 teaspoon flooring cinnamon
20 garlic cloves
6 teaspoons darkish soy sauce
2 kilos red meat ribs, rinsed and drained, cut into four pieces

Cooked rice, for serving

DIRECTIONS
1. In a huge pot, upload all of the ingredients, besides the red meat ribs, and carry to a boil over excessive heat.
2. Add the red meat ribs to the broth and carry again to a boil, then decrease the warmth and permit it simmer on low for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or till the red meat is tender.
3. Turn off the warmth and hide for 10 minutes. Serve hot with rice.
