Hamburger Steak Skillet Casserole consists of a hearty ground beef mixture in a thick gravy with diced tomatoes covered with a layer of white cheddar mashed potatoes.

Ingredients

• 2 lbs Ground beef, lean

• 2 (8-ounce) packages Cremini mushrooms
• 3 Garlic cloves
• 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
• 1 tbsp Parsley, fresh
• 1/2 tsp Thyme, dried
• 1 (14.5-ounce) can Tomatoes
• 1 cup Yellow onion
• 3 lbs Yukon gold potatoes

Canned Goods

• 1 cup Beef broth
• 1 (10.5-ounce) can French onion soup, condensed

Baking & Spices

• 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp Black pepper
• 1 tsp Salt
• 1 Salt and pepper

Oils & Vinegars

• 1 tbsp Olive or vegetable oil
• 1 tbsp Red wine vinegar

Dairy

• 4 tbsp Butter
• 1 cup Milk
• 1 1/2 cups White cheddar cheese, sharp
